Enter your username and password, and then click the Login button. Once you are logged
in, the Sensors page should appear. If your login fails, a message will appear saying the login
information was incorrect.
Note
Passwords are case-sensitive.
Click on the link on the bottom of the Login page to access the Collector End User License
Agreement.
Session Timeout
For security reasons, a login session will automatically end aer a period of inactivity, re-
turning you to the Login page. e timeout duration can be specied in the Settings section
of the System page (see Chapter 7).
Service Not Started Errors
e Collector service is congured to start automatically, even aer a server reboot. How-
ever, in rare cases, a server error or an altered system conguration causes the Collector
service to stop, or to fail to restart in a timely manner. If this happens, you will not be able
to access the Web interface and a message reading “e Collector service failed to start up
properly” will be displayed on the Login page.
Troubleshooting Service Not Started Errors
Follow the steps below to make sure the Collector service has started:
1 Open the Control Panel on your machine.
2 Select Administrative Tools > Services and check the listing for Collector.
